Hawaii Lava Odyssey
Three Full Days (4 night) Intensive Field Adventure
4-8 February 2018 – 3 full days + arrival and departure days.
This three full field day (4 night) field trip on the Big Island of Hawaii will take you to see all the key active volcano location son the Big Island of Hawaii. We will explore the active Kilauea, the dormant Mauna Loa and the extinct Mauna Kea. We will see recent lava flows and discover the features of active volcanism.
This trip is designed for everyone who has an interest in volcanoes – no matter what their background.
Participants on our trips have been geologists, students, teachers and nature enthusiasts. Spouses and partners are always welcome.

Trip payment (including deposit) is fully refundable minus a US$100 administration fee up till COB on September 30, 2017 Cancellations between October 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017 will forfeit deposit (US$500). Full payment is due before December 31, 2017. There are no refunds after January 1, 2018. All participants MUST provide evidence for travel insurance for the trip period when full payment is made.
