Plate Tectonics Model Package

A series of 3D cut out paper models that show the different forms of sand dunes including:

Sea Floor Spreading Model

Subduction Zone Model

Globe of the Earth (requires a tennis ball)

Globe of the Earth showing plate boundaries (requires a tennis ball)

All students need is a printer, scissors, and glue to make a 3-D model.

These models were developed by Tau Rho Alpha and myself as part of resources for Geoscience Australia and then The Geological Society fo America – both now giving them away for free.  I have added them as a bonus package to members of the GEOetc site.    They can be found for free elsewhere.
