Welcome to the course!    I have been helping educators teach about volcanoes for many years and hope that you will enjoy this non-textbook approach to a topic your students will find fascinating.

We will be looking at volcanoes in a different way than most textbooks!  We will discover what drives them, and what influences their eruptions and shapes.  e will also look at how volcanoes are monitored and how huge eruptions can influence climate.

This course is designed to give you the basic facts for each topic followed by an activity to use in your classroom.

Once you complete the course you will be provided a certific tae for four (4) hours of Professional Development.
