Come and learn about the formation of the Cotter Caves and the Paddys River Mines on this 2 hr guided geology walk. We will spend time exploring an old mine and looking at the ore minerals. We will also be able to peer into the Cotter Caves.
This is walk on paths, stairs and some off track scrambling. We will be walking on loose rocks and gravel on a mine dump.
You MUST wear closed in shoes. We go rain, hail or shire – please dress accordingly.
The walk takes around two hours.
